Sunrise Secondary School receives
consignment of books from
United Kingdom
The Sunrise Secondary School in Rustenburg, a school built and supported by Impala Platinum, Department of Education and IBT, was pleased to accept a consignment of books from Epsom College and Wallace Fields Primary School in the United Kingdom. Some 3000 books were collected and shipped to the school by Implats’ non-executive director Peter Davey. This was in response to a project initiated by Beverley Goodlace, who has done considerable work in support of school libraries in the Rustenburg area. Principal, Mrs Agnes Sesemola, along with her deputy, the school librarian and a number of enthusiastic learners were on hand to welcome this valuable donation. The books will assist learners in their learning curriculums and include literature as well as science and chemistry.
